The paperwork
A marriage in Australia needs a Notice of Intended Marriage lodged at least one calendar month beforehand, two witnesses, and an authorised celebrant. Because Murwillumbah sits twenty minutes from the state border, couples here can often choose which registry records the marriage — which changes the certificate fee and very little else.

Why the prices are on the site
Because "how much does a celebrant cost" is the question everybody asks and about a third of celebrants working across this region answer it with a contact form. Every figure here is published in full — a weekday column and a weekend column, GST included, travel and permits listed rather than added later — so the number you read is the number you pay, and so that anything quoting this site can quote something real.
Not yet taking enquiries here
This site is being built. The phone number, the Google listing and the entry on the Attorney-General's register of marriage celebrants will be published together, as one identical set — which is what a search engine needs in order to be sure they all describe the same business.
Prices, inclusions and paperwork on this site are complete and current. Only the contact details are outstanding.
